Ghanaians react to Rashida's 'free show'

Rashida Black Beauty who shot into fame after her 'malafaka' video, was all over social media yesterday, not for a good reason but a very bad one if you ask me. A naked video of herself was allegedly leaked by God knows who and for that matter she has been on the receiving end of public punches and jabs. I haven't seen the video myself and thanks to the comments and back lashing from those who have, I don't think I will.

It is said that getting to the top is easy but staying at the top is the real deal. Most of our celebrities today, when they see they're gradually fading out of the limelight, they do stuffs like; posting their nude pictures or videos, making provocative statements, faking stories about their death or accident etc just for the masses to talk about them again. Is this what Rashida is trying to do? Well, we all know she has been off the scene for quite some time now so is this her big come back? Unfortunately for Rashida, her stunt didn't turn out well. People have expressed their disappointment in her. If words could kill, young Rashida would be long gone. Below are some randomly selected reactions of the public.

 

                          

Rashida who couldn't sustain the heat, took to Facebook to apologise. She wrote "Hello Ghana, i am sorry and i regret my actions, there is a lot of explanation to this video but i guess the harm has already been done so no one will be willing to hear what i have to say or tell them. All i want to say is i regret my actions and i hope Ghanaians do forgive me... Thank You!"

Ghanaians kept on lashing and rebuking her, so angered Rashida posted a video on Facebook to tell her malafaka haters to 'go to hell'.

I must say that, what Rashida did should indeed be criticised, this is not how we were brought up as Ghanaians. We forgive you Rashida, let's just hope we will forget. Let me just end here with two quotes, 'Cleanliness is next to godliness' and 'if you want to do it, do it right'.
