Too Many Young Talents; something we should be proud of

The trend and emergence of many young talented artists in our music industry in recent times is something which is good for the music industry and we should be proud of it as a nation. Gone are the days where we see only one up and coming artist, standing out and rubbing shoulders with the big guns, things have indeed changed for the better.

Somewhere 2014, it was Joey B standing out. He passed on the mantle to Pappy Kojo who also made waves in 2015. Fast forward 2016/17, here we are with many crops of young talented artists who are almost equally amazing. Below are some young talents currently blowing us off our feet. Not according to any particular order.

There’s Kurl Songx who has two great songs out there (Jennifer Lomotey and Whistle) which he features Sarkodie. 

King Promise. After I heard him on Vision Djs track Double trouble which also featured Sarkodie, I knew this boy has a lot to offer. His song Oh yeah, my personal favorite is still fire. He also has a song titled  hey sexy where he featured dance hall heavy weight StoneBwoy. King also featured on Manifest's new song me ne woa where he lived up to expectation. From the look of things, he still has alot to offer.

Kuami Eugene, the ladies man. Who doesn’t love this boy and his hit track Angela? Definitely a gem! He says he would win a BET award in 3 years' time. You have my support son, if only you keep doing good music.

Kidi is also one amazing kid on the block. Hitting headlines with his two hit tracks Odo and Say you love me. This boy is just too good and we hope he keeps it up.

Ebony the bad gyal in my opinion is currently the best female artist and one of the best in the country. She started making waves in 2016 and even in 2017 she’s still standing tall. From Poison to kupe to Sponsor to Date your fada and to her new song regarded by many as an Xmas banger- Hustle. Ebony is really on top of her game!
