Some things people do on WhatsApp that must not continue in 2018

These days, text messaging seems to be entirely functional. If you want to communicate in a fun way, it’s all about WhatsApp. The messaging service has lots of us getting involved in personal and group chats, some of which go on for years and involve lots of friends.
Alas, as with any social activity, there are always going to be some people who don’t really get the etiquette.  Here are some bad things people do on WhatsApp (according to many) that must not continue in 2018.
Asking people to send you their status.
Asking people to send you their status  every now and then is very irritating and annoying according to many. This is because; there is a simple way to get these statuses without asking (click the link to find out How to save your friend's status without asking). If you don’t want to learn this trick, just go like ‘hello, take this 100mb and send me that video’ lol

Screenshoting chats to friends and laughing.
The act of taking shots of personal chats and sharing it among friends isn’t a cool habit at all. Respect privacy and let confidential stuff stay as such

Forward this message to 10 people blab la bla.
The unnecessary forwarding or broadcasting of messages, pictures and videos especially the one with threats attached to it must end now. Jesus Christ doesn’t threaten us to spread the gospel, period! Also, try and be creative too, don’t forward the same message your friend sent. Edit it small lol.

Uploading too many statuses.
This is quite controversial but hey, a lot of people claim it’s irritating to see people uploading over 15 status and more.

Sending gory
or gross pictures and videos without viewers discretion alert.
It is unkind to send people gross pictures that they don’t want to see, but it’s especially unkind on WhatsApp. All the images you receive are automatically saved to your camera roll (unless you’re clever with the settings). So to those who are fond of this act, just give out a caption to show what the content is about.
Using group chat to converse with only one member
People who fail to realize that that they can use WhatsApp to chat one on one are a nightmare.  There’s nothing worse than watching two members of the group dissect an event they attended, or plan the logistics of a night out that you’re not involved in.

Replying with K .
Replying with K and other shorthand writings should cease this year. It doesn’t hurt to add an ‘O’ to the ‘K’

Blue ticking.
This is where you read someone’s message and don’t reply. This is not very cool. If you don’t want to reply, just don’t read it.

Someone adding you to a group without your permission.

This is very annoying especially if you don’t know anyone in the group and how they even got your number. The right thing is to ask the person’s permission before adding them.

These were some of the views we collected, what do you also think? let's have your thoughts.
